This is a special bulletin – I have some news to announce.
First, some of you may know I have a YouTube channel. It will be seeing more action soon. Starting after Labor Day, there will be a special video posted up every Saturday known as “the Max West Scrapbook”. In this video, I will be post up a few pages and add a written commentary following each one. Therefore, you’ll get some insight into my working process and how I create my comics.
Second, I will be hitting the convention circuit to promote my blog and my comics as well as network and meet potential publishers for Sunnyville. The New York Comic Con will be my first stop and I’ll be there on Saturday October 8 to meet people and network. That same weekend will also see the New York Anime Festival in town and I’ll be attending that as well. During Halloween weekend, I’ll be up in Cromwell, CT at the anthropomorphics convention Furfright to promote Sunnyville Stories.
From there on, I will be inactive until January 13-17 of 2011. I’ll be heading out west to San Jose, CA where I will be at Further Confusion. Sunnyville-related artwork will be in their art show and I’ll also be present at the artist reception, so if you’re there, be sure to stop by and say hello. I’ll also be a guest at I-Con 2011. That’ll be held the weekend of April 15-17 at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. I’ll be a guest speaker on the anthro track. I’ll also be at Anthrocon 2011 and Furfright 2011. Be sure to watch for more details soon.
