Two new videos and San Jose

This week, I have two videos on YouTube to share with you.  But first, I’d like to make a few announcements.  Sunnyville Stories episode 3 is FINISHED, but there will be a delay.  I can’t send the master files to Kablam for printing.  The third episode should be available next month.  Next, there are some more talented people out there that I’d like to share with all of you.  The first is Jason Brubaker.  By day, he works for Dreamworks Animation – when he’s not animating, he has put together a very impressive graphic novel called reMIND.  This is nothing short of super and has some very outstanding perspective shots and action-packed fight scenes.  Be sure to check out his official blog for page samples and insight into his work…which is sort of like what my own blog is.  Jason brought to my attention the work of someone else named Daniel Lieske.  He’s put out his own work called the Wormworld Saga and has a blog detailing his work.  Be sure to check both of these guys out.  The graphic novels will definitely knock your socks off.

I will also be in San Jose, California this weekend.  I depart tomorrow night.  Why am I going there? I’m heading to Further Confusion 2011 being held on January 13th to January 17th, 2011 at the Fairmont San Jose.  I’ll be there mainly to network and to promote myself.  In fact, Sunnyville Stories related artwork will be on display in the art show and I’ll be giving a talk Saturday night about perspective, a subject I’m learning about myself.  The thing I look forward to most about this trip is…Jack In The Box!  It’s a neat fast food chain popular in the Western USA but non-existent here in my base of operations in the Northeast.  Anyway, I’ll have photos and coverage of the convention next week when I return along with tips on how to network.  But I’ve blabbed on enough…on to the videos!
