En route to Anthrocon 2012

As this blog post is going live, I’m currently on an Amtrak train headed to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for Anthrocon 2012. As you can imagine, I’m quite psyched and am very confident that my artwork for the art show will succeed. In addition, I’m optimistic that my comics will sell as well. Two vendors in the dealer room this year will be stocking my comics – Steven Martin and M&T Comics.

Anthrocon art show submissions

Here you can see two of my submissions, Worlds Apart and Three Sour Notes. Of all the work I’ve been developing over the past couple of months, these two were among the strongest of my selections. Naturally, I should only submit my best work to Anthrocon’s art show. I’ve used Twitter aggressively to promote these pieces and how they will be in the art show – something I didn’t do in the last year.

More Anthrocon art show submissions

These two are the other pieces selected for the show – Putting Your Foot In It and Rusty Against the World. See their respective entries for more details. Anyway, I’ll be using both Twitter and Facebook very aggressively. Blog entries will be done for each day of the convention, starting tomorrow. There will be photos and video where applicable.

This is it, everyone. This will be a big event for Sunnyville Stories and for myself. So be sure to wish me luck. Incidentally, if you’re interested in joining in on the fun, check out Anthrocon’s website for more details on the event and its locale.

Till tomorrow!
