Ready for Small Press Expo 2012

Hello, friends.  You probably noticed that there was no blog post yesterday, which was Wednesday – the day I always update my blog.  You have nothing to worry about, loyal readers.  I’m all right.

To be honest, in addition to Sunnyville Stories, I’m busy with some other ideas.  Those will have to wait for a future blog post however.  What I wanted to remind everyone was that I will be heading to the Small Press Expo 2012 tomorrow.  There’ll be another blog post up tomorrow afternoon and one on Saturday too.

First, know before you go.  The Small Press Expo 2012 is set for this weekend, both Saturday Sept. 15 and Sunday Sept. 16.  This comics extravaganza will be taking place at the Marriott Bethesda North Hotel & Conference Center located at 5701 Marinelli Road in North Bethesda, Maryland (their phone number is 301-822-9200).

The SPX 2012 kicks off on Saturday from 11:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday noon to 6:00pm.  The event is open to the general public and entrance fees are collected at the door.  A one-day membership costs US$10 while weekend memberships cost US$15.

You can check out their website for full information on events, exhibitors and special guests.

Now you’re all probably wondering what I’m going to be doing there.  I’ll be networking and promoting Sunnyville Stories.  Plus, I’ll have surplus copies with me of episode 2, episode 3, and episode 4.  If you have a zine or comic of equal or lesser value, I will be open to trading with you.

Stay tuned to this blog for  more on SPX 2012!

In the meantime, subscribe via RSS feed or through email for more convenient updates or follow the sync on Newsgrape.  If you haven’t already, make sure you stop over to Indy Planet to buy your copy of my first book, Sunnyville Stories Volume 1, as well as my other comics – or get a copy over at Desert Island of Brooklyn, New York.  As always, I welcome comments.  What’s your opinion?  We’d like to know.
