Well, friends, it’s a few days late. But I just wanted to share a little more information on the Small Press Expo 2012.
So how did it go for me? It went very well. I not only pulled in traffic to the blog, but I traded away all but one of my comics. Plus I met more people and got them talking about Sunnyville Stories. Plus I met one of my mentors there, Tom Hart, who runs the Sequential Artists Workshop in Gainesville, Florida. He told me that he did receive the copy of my very first trade paperback, Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 (still available over on Indy Planet).
As you can see, the crowds were quite big. Trust me – the Small Press Expo may have been dedicated to the “small press” but the event was LARGER THAN LIFE.
Now some thanks are in order.
To each and every person who traded comics with me in exchange for my copies of Sunnyville Stories – thank you.
To the staff of the North Bethesda Marriott – thank you.
To the organizers, staff, and volunteers of SPX 2012 – thank you very much.
If you haven’t gone to SPX 2012, then you missed out on one of the premiere comics events of this year. Be sure you go next year!
Make sure you subscribe via RSS feed or through email if you haven’t already. Also follow the sync on Newsgrape. Head on over to Indy Planet to buy your copy of my first book, Sunnyville Stories Volume 1, as well as my other comics – or get a copy over at Desert Island of Brooklyn, New York. As always, I welcome comments. What’s your opinion? We’d like to know
