I’ve got a couple of announcements, loyal fans. First, Sunnyville Stories episode 6 is still being inked. My progress on it has been slow but it is being done. It WILL see the light of day.
Also as a reminder, Desert Island of Brooklyn, New York does still stock Sunnyville Stories Volume 1. They are located at 540 Metropolitan Avenue and are open 7 days a week. The store is run by a cool guy named Gabriel Fowler. Be sure to swing by there to buy a copy of Sunnyville Stories today. Check out the other neat stuff there too while you’re at it. Desert Island stocks books, zines, comics, graphic novels, and other miscellany.
Now I have some other things to tell you. I have big plans for 2013. One of the first releases for that year will be…my very first E-book. Yes, I will put out an e-book next year through Lulu. What will this e-book be about? It will be about how to make comics. Drawing upon the information from this blog as well as the insights I’ve gained through working on Sunnyville Stories, I will put out an e-book about writing, pencilling, inking, and generating ideas for comics. Watch for more details as they emerge.
Also through Lulu, I will be putting out an art book through them. It will be a coffee table art book in hardcover and will be sold EXCLUSIVELY through Lulu. But wait: there’s more. The Sunnyville Stories coffee table art book will contain a total of twenty pen-and-ink drawings that will not be available ANYWHERE ELSE!
