StellarCon, Librari-Con, and Wholesale

I’ve got some announcements to make to all you readers out there.  First and foremost, Sunnyville Stories episode 7 “By Any Other Name” has been finished and sent off to the printers.  It will be available next month.  Working on it was quite an experience.  Not only was it the first story done completely in North Carolina AND under Different Mousetrap Press LLC, but I had to pull an all-nighter to finish it off.  Yes, I had coffee at around 5 pm Wednesday night and finished the last pages at around 2:30 am early Thursday morning!  That was quite an experience.  Stay tuned to the blog as I’ll make a formal announcement when the comic will be available for sale.

The second thing I’d like to announce is that my wholesaler, the Brodart Company, has just placed an order for a batch of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 books!  As I’m expecting a fresh printing run from my printers at the start of March, they’ll probably have the books in stock shortly thereafter.  If you are a bookseller or librarian, you can order copies of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 through Brodart.  (On another note, I’ll discuss wholesalers, distributors, and ISBNs in a future blog post.)

The next announcements I have are for upcoming events.  Don’t forget that next week will be StellarCon 37!  StellarCon will be taking place Friday March 1st, Saturday March 2nd, and Sunday March 3rd.  It will be happening at the Greensboro-High Point Airport Marriott located at One Marriott Drive on the grounds of Piedmont Triad Airport.  I will be there in attendance AND I will also be selling there in the artist alley!  I will have copies of Sunnyville Stories episodes 4, 5, 6, the Sunnyville Sketchbook and Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 for sale.  Plus I will have a collection of art prints and will be taking on private commissions for cheap.

That will not be my only convention for this year.  I will be a dealer at another event in North Carolina called Librari-Con.  Librari-Con is an event that will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Cumberland County Public Library in Fayetteville.  It’s a one day event, but much will be going on.  Check out that link for more details.

Don’t forget to subscribe via RSS feed or email if you haven’t already.  If you don’t want to wait until StellarCon or Librari-Con, you can get copies of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 today.  Don’t forget that I also take private commissions and have a gig on Fiverr.  Your comments are always welcome here.  What’s your opinion?  We’d like to know.
