Work on episode 9 to start

There wasn’t any blog post yesterday because I was busy doing some promotion as well as looking for freelance assignments.  I recently joined up with ELance to offer my services as a freelancer.  Sadly, I’ve been rejected for each and every assignment I’ve applied for.  I’ll be keeping at it however.  Dont’ forget also that I am taking private commissions – please contact me if you’d like to purchase art commissions from me.

I’ve also been working on selling my book.  Direct mail pieces have been going out to libraries across the southern USA, to get them to buy Sunnyville Stories Volume 1.  I’ve already sent mailings out to North Carolina (my home state) as well as South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.  Tomorrow, mailings will be going out to libraries in Texas.  If you are a library who is interested in carrying Sunnyville Stories Volume 1, please contact me or get in touch with Brodart, my wholesaler.

Plus, I’ve been talking to Jon Gorga of Carmine Street Comics.  The West Village comics shop is willing to carry copies of Sunnyville!

In this downtime after finishing Sunnyville #8, I’ve been working on my graphic novel Von Herling, Vampire Hunter.  Now I’m two-thirds of the way through the pencils.  Samples of it are available on my WordPress blog.

As I’m short on bristol board, I’ve had to order more.  That’s why I’ve had to delay work on Sunnyville Stories episode 9.  But later today, I’ll start on the thumbnails.  There’ll be thumbnails posted up on Saturday.

Subscribe to the RSS feed or via email if you haven’t already.  If you represent a public or school library system and you’re interested in carrying Sunnyville Stories Volume 1, please contact Brodart Company as they carry the work wholesale.  Make sure you buy a copy of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 or get a copy from these other retailers.  And don’t forget that copies of Sunnyville Stories are available on Amazon!
