Ladies and gentlemen, everything is okay with me and I will be starting work on Sunnyville Stories episode 9 “The Japanese Connection” today. I know – I haven’t done any work on Sunnyville Stories for the past two weeks. That’s because I needed to start the inking on my graphic novel Von Herling, Vampire Hunter.
There’s my work table with pages of Von Herling waiting to be inked. At the time of this writing, I have just under 100 pages of art to completely finish. Like the second volume of Sunnyville Stories, these has to be put to bed (that is, sent to the printers) by no later than October 31st to meet the March 2014 release date.
On top of that, I’ll also be working on the aforementioned volume of Sunnyville Stories as well as more individual stories. If all goes well, I hope to also put out episodes ten, eleven and maybe twelve by the time this year is out.
I also have to get ready for Anthrocon (about over a month away), but I’ll talk about that later.
While I’m doing all this, I need to pay my bills and make a living so I’m also doing freelance work. Don’t forget that I am taking on private art commissions so if you’re interested, please get in touch with me through this blog. I’ve contacted a number of local magazines as well as advertising agencies based in Greensboro, NC. On top of that, I’ve put in for freelance work with IDW Publishing, Boom Studios, and Viper Comics. In addition, I’ll be contacting Antarctic Press on Monday.
Watch this blog for more updates on Sunnyville Stories as well as my other work and convention appearances. I’ll keep you posted.
