Volume 2 Under Construction

Work continues on getting Von Herling, Vampire Hunter and Sunnyville Stories Volume 2 ready for press.

The first few press kits have gone out and two more just went out yesterday to the Library Journal and Great Stories (one of my vendors).

On top of that, I’ve also been tweeting the official trailers for both works several times a day. Here’s the official Sunnyville Stories Volume 2 trailer.

BTW, that piece that plays during my company’s logo is the Promenade piece from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.

One of the bonus features in this second volume is the Sunnyville Sketchbook. Two of the extra stories in this volume are short vignettes. The first one should be familiar. It’s episode 4.5 which I posted here in parts of one, two and three.

The other one will be a new one that I won’t put up here (at least not now) involving Rusty and ice cream sundaes – hilarity will ensue.

To be frank, I’d hoped to do an extra full-length story as I have at least one good idea. I have a story (dubbed “Home Wreckonomics”) where Rusty, Ragnar, and Olaf set up their own repair business and then are hired by a woman to fix her doorbell. Again, hilarity ensues. At present, I may use it in the third volume (due out in 2016) or the fourth volume (due in 2017).

The book has its ISBN number, which is 9780989069601, and it also has its Library of Congress Control Number of 2013944447. This means the book will be carried in the Library of Congress. Stay tuned to this blog as I’ll have more information as time goes on.

Don’t forget that you can still get Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 for Kindle as well as paperback. Check out the book’s Goodreads entry for other retailers as well as libraries carrying it!  Tell your library that you want Sunnyville Stories – we are carried throughBrodartIngram, and the library division of Alibris!
