Personally speaking, I have to ask myself if I’m happy with whatever it is that I have. The answer to that question is “yes”.
I am pleased that I have people who are not only buying my work but reading it AND enjoying it. At present, I’m not a household word like Charles Schulz but more of a cult figure like Edward Gorey.
There’s also good reviews in the media for my work such as from the Midwest Book Review and the blogosphere. I have a number of evangelists who also have promoted my work to the the masses and that pleases me. What’s more is that more and more libraries are picking up my titles for their collection.
I have to plan for 2015 and where to go with Sunnyville Stories but that is a whole other post for another day.
