Yes, another potpourri blog post today.
First, as a reminder, Cerebus the Aardvark is being posted up on Tumblr to read for free. Go check it out if you haven’t already.
I reported recently that I’m working on a small 5.5 x 7.75 inch comic titled “Free Sunnyville”. As of last night, the comic was finished and put to bed. Once the proof copy arrives and I check it over, a few hundred copies are going to be printed up. The comic will give a basic overview of Sunnyville Stories and have some panels in there as samples along with contact and ordering information. I plan to send these out to some of my vendors to distribute as well as to libraries and the media. These will given out to potential customers as it will be a good way to promote the series.
Speaking of proof copies, I’m expecting new proofs to arrive of Sunnyville Stories volumes 1 and 2. Once those get approved, I plan to have more printings done up for this summer.
On another note, some more copies of my books have sold through my vendors and Amazon. If you still haven’t gotten your copy yet, Sunnyville Stories Vol. 1 (ISBN 9780615653921) is still for sale on Amazon. You can also get it at Great Stories along with copies of Sunnyville Stories Volume 2. So be sure to get yours today!
Work is progressing on Sunnyville Stories #12. The pencils were finished recently and I have been inking the story now.
This is a rough inked panel you see here. I have not yet erased the pencil lines and blacks have not yet been filled in.
At the same time, I work to get the third volume ready. I have secured the ISBN but have some problems with its LCCN so that may take a bit longer. I’ll have more news up soon. That’s all for now!
