Greetings, friends. In a little under three hours from now at 12pm Central Standard Time, I will undertake the 24 hour comics challenge.
From that time, I will have until 12pm CST tomorrow on November 1 to finish a whole 24 page comic. This will NOT be easy and I’m well aware that many have failed in this challenge.
From my viewpoint, I feel this experience will be a positive one. If I succeed at the challenge, then I’ll have bragging rights. Not many out there can claim they created a whole 24 page comic in just 24 hours.
And even if I fail the challenge, I honestly believe that this experience will do me some good. Besides being a change of pace (I’m doing a comic about my Gothic horror hero, August Von Herling), it forces me to think on my feet, improvise and take a different look at my technique.
