Advertising and Interview Plans 2016

As work continues on the creative end of things (working up Sunnyville #14 and looking ahead to the next stories), I’m also devising more methods of getting exposure.

I have some good news about another interview being arranged and even a possible cover story!  Indyfest Magazine is an online publication that covers the small press when it comes to comics.  They actually saw one of my posts in the Self Publisher Association Facebook page and approached me about Sunnyville Stories.

At the time of the writing, I’m negotiating an interview which will give Sunnyville Stories more coverage.  But wait…there’s more.  It may not be until summer but we’re negotiating a possible cover feature with Sunnyville Stories!  At present, this is still pending and nothing has been finalized yet.  We’ll keep you posted on future developments to stay tuned to the blog.

Indyfest offers advertising and I’m looking into that.  While I have gotten attention with the usual social media and word-of-mouth strategy, that isn’t enough.  I need more exposure and have strongly been considering advertising for Sunnyville.  Indyfest has reasonable rates but I need to check the circulation figures before considering them.  On top of that, banners are being developed for other possible websites to advertise on.

Speaking of advertising, I have some wonderful news.  One of my vendors sold some of my Sunnyville books and ordered more of them up.  Besides more being shipped out, I’ve also called in Rusty and Sam to lend celebrity power to this storefront.  Yes, this vendor is an actual brick & mortar shop.

Great Stories Ad 1

This ad is a prototype, but you get the idea.  This store is also worth checking out if anyone lives in the vicinity of Uxbridge, Massachusetts.

Stay tuned to the blog for more news.

Copies of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 are still for sale on Amazon, both in print and Kindle formats!  While you’re there, be sure to pick up Sunnyville Stories Volume 2 and (if you love Gothic horror) Von Herling, Vampire Hunter!  And now available in Kindle format is the latest installment of the saga, Sunnyville Stories Volume 3.  Get them today!
