Corecon 2016 Day 3 & 4

Saturday June 11 and Sunday June 12 saw much more action than Thursday or Friday did.

There was more foot traffic both of those days and more to see.

There were also no shortage of costumed characters like the Harley Quinn here.

As for me, I was aggressively selling Sunnyville to passersby.  All three Sunnyville volumes were on sale along with Von Herling, plus I made sure to tell people that Von Herling was now on sale over on DriveThru Comics.  Copies of Free Sunnyville were also given out; I must have given out a ton of copies.  I emphasized in addition to an overview of the series, it also gave my contact info and purchasing details.

Sunnyville Stories Volumes 1, 2 & 3

There was a silent auction to benefit the Village Family Service Center with many items being donated like books, gift certificates, plushes, and so on.  A set of all three Sunnyville books (the third volume there being a signed & numbered edition) was donated to the auction and actually sold today Sunday June 12!

Oh yeah…here is your humble host present at Corecon at his artist alley table.Max West at CoreCon 2016

There I am, complete with my Ka-Blam shirt (they’re the nice people who print my work).  I was sure to talk to passing attendees and use my elevator pitch to get them interested in Sunnyville.

That’s it for now.  I’m tired and am wrapping up some other work.  A full review of how Corecon 2016 went will be up tomorrow morning.
