Hello, friends! Today, I have another Kickstarter update and even a few items to share with you.
Just a reminder – we launch on Jan. 5, 2018 to fund Sunnyville Stories Volume 4. Anyway, after some careful rewriting, I did manage to finish the script for the Kickstarter video.
This took at least one revision and a few sections to be thrown out. While a video is a must for a Kickstarter (to not have one is suicide), I don’t want to make it too long.
It will be similar to the first video where I interact with Rusty and Sam (Rusty calls me “boss”) and they explain things. I don’t want them to get too long-winded however; I’ll leave the higher reward tiers (US$75 and 150) for the Kickstarter text itself.
There’s also the Kickstarter artwork which will double as the cover for the fourth volume.
The joke here would be a mind screw; that donut hole goes right through Rusty’s body. The inspiration came from the cover to MAD Magazine #94 from October 1964. This is an idea I’ve been wanting to draw for awhile now. I hope to have it done by this weekend to show you Sunnyville fans.
