Hello, everyone. I’m settling in here in Fargo. I’ve been assembling a new studio. The challenge is all my other belongings; I have so many books that I don’t know what to do with them all!
Those drawings you see aren’t connected to Sunnyville. Those are from another idea I’ve been working on called “Sheldon the Mighty.”
Sheldon the Mighty has been conceived as a fighting mini-series about a teenager in the fictional town of Flatlands, North Dakota. Sheldon learns the Japanese martial art of aikijutsu from his uncle to stop local bullies. Things escalate however when all these trained fighters sit up and take notice of Sheldon’s skills. From then on, Sheldon finds himself being challenged by all these opponents.
As it stands right now, I have one complete story drawn. There’s also two more completed scripts, two incomplete scripts and many notes about this. How much time will I have to work on this AND Sunnyville? I don’t know.
As for Sunnyville, I expect the inking to start up possibly tomorrow. At least, it shouldn’t take that long since this is a shorter story. I may have an inked page or two up this weekend.
