After many delays, I finally got to ink some pages of Sunnyville Stories episode 10 “Listen to the Music”.
Compare this to the earlier pencils I had. This emphasizes why inking comics is so important; pencils don’t reproduce well and you probably recall those images were hard to see. The other reason is that this image looks so crisp and vivid. It pops out on the page and catches your attention as opposed to the faint pencils.
Again, the page looks so much better and the polyptych I’m using here (a technique I picked up from David Sim) really turns out well!
I’ll have some more pages up on Wednesday.
