Notes for April 7, 2018

Good evening, readers and Sunnyville fans.  This is more of a personal entry.

First, I wanted to mention that the Sunnyville Stories #17 Kickstarter is live.  It launched today and already we are past 50% funded!  That is amazing and exceeded my expectations.  Be sure to pledge if you didn’t and tell others about it.

Anyway, now that the Kickstarter has launched and I’m back from New York City, I’m back to work on Sunnyville #17.  I aim to finish that, develop the Dominic & Claire spin-off (that will have its own Kickstarter in June) and also look for more ways to generate income.

As a reminder, I do take private commissions.  If you’re interested, email me at maxwestart(at)gmail(dot)com for more info.

I’ve started courting some of the advertising agencies for freelance work.  Besides a local agency, I did get some leads on other ones that employ humorous style illustrators like me.  I plan to send them query letters and art samples over the coming weeks.

The next few months will be quite a challenge for me between comics, Kickstarter and seeking out paying work.  But it’s one that I’m up for.

Sign up for the mailing list if you haven’t already.  Check out my webcomic Tiffany & Corey and also stop by Amazon to grab Sunnyville Stories trade paperbacks.

Are you interested in private commissions from me?  Feedback or questions on my comics?  Send them via email to maxwestart(at)gmail(dot)com or write to:
