FM Comicon 2019 was quite intense yesterday! I arrived and set my wares up.
I just had Sunnyville volume 1 instead of all my usual books. Also with me was the Sunnyville Super Special #2 from my Kickstarter last year.
It was quiet early on but the action picked up later in spite of the winter weather.
As Dominic & Claire was my main focus, I aggressively promoted it to attendees on the floor. I emphasized the low price point, the deal offered with the print and the free convention sketches I was doing.
I actually sold some copies of the Dominic & Claire Funnies! I didn’t sell as much as I had hoped but I still moved some of them.
I have to get ready for the second day of the event. I will follow up this evening with a more complete report.
