Sunnyville New York Tour 2015 Day 2

On the second day of my New York trip, I headed back into Manhattan.  I passed by my alma mater, Baruch College, where I got my creative writing degree in 2003.

Prior to heading back to Carmine Street Comics, my first thoughts were lunch so I headed to an old haunt of mine.

Sarge's Deli

Sarge’s Deli of Murray Hill, New York City, NY

Sarge’s Deli (548 3rd Avenue, New York, NY 10016) is a Jewish deli that is open 24 hours and seven days a week with big portions of food.  You can’t go wrong with the matzoh ball soup, large slices of cheesecake or any of the sandwiches!

From there, I headed downtown to Carmine Street to Carmine Street Comics.

Jon Gorga showed up some time after I arrived there and we chewed the rag for awhile.

Various customers came into the shop that day.  Jon did chat with them as they purchased comics.  I also mentioned my own comics, which are for sale there.

Jon and I talked a lot.  The end result gave me food for thought when I said goodbye and left.  What we talked about is a whole other blog post.
