Little does Donny Hopper, Rusty Duncan and friends know that there is trouble brewing…but not monsters in their role playing game.
I guarantee we’ll be seeing more of the clinic in the next story, but we’ll see that in good time.
I love the beat panel in the top right panel when Nurse Hopper realizes that one of these books is not like the others. Those other books were chosen deliberately; their content is much more violent than the Shannara books. Speaking of which, try reading the Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks. And while you’re at it, try the other Shannara books too. Do yourself a favor and stay away from that awful TV series, the Shannara Chronicles – just because you can adapt books for television doesn’t mean that you should. But I digress.
We’ll have to wait till next time to see where this goes.
