At present, I’m still working out my schedule for conventions, appearances and events. I can’t simply rely on my Internet sales alone at this time; it’s important to get out and stump for Sunnyville Stories as well as personally connecting with both buyers and potential fans.
The following conventions planned for next year are all in the Fargo-Moorhead area. They are:
Fargo-Moorhead Comicon (Feb. 2017)
Corecon (June)
Anime Fargo (September)
Valleycon (October)
Corecon and Valleycon will be definite ones for me as I will be applying for them. I will apply for Anime Fargo again but whether or not I can get into their artist alley depends; I was not able to get in there this year. Presently, I’m on the fence about whether or not to apply to Fargo-Moorhead Comicon; that’s geared more towards mainstream material than small press comics like mine.
I have some more appearances to work out too. On the advice of AP Fuchs, negotiations are underway for book signing in some local bookstores. There’s just a few in the Fargo area but further into 2017, I aim to do more in North Dakota and Minnesota. There’s also some leads that were generated for doing talks at some schools in North Dakota and Minnesota.
There’ll be more surprises in store and this list of appearances isn’t final. Stay tuned for more news as it develops.
