Looking to September & October 2017

Okay, this blog post will be brief but I do have some announcements to make.

Sunnyville #15 is nearly completed.  Eight pages remain to be drawn; as this is Labor Day weekend here, I should be able to knock those out and finally finish.  I hope to share some pages tomorrow on the blog.

Next month in October will be 24 Hour Comics Day.  It is held every year on the first Saturday of October.  This year, it will be Saturday, October 7.  As you remember, I did the challenge in both 2015 and 2016.  I will go the distance a third time and undertake the challenge.  Like I did before, it will be a vampire comic.  However, it will be different – it will NOT star my intrepid vampire hunter, August Von Herling.  You’ll find out about that when the time comes.

Another announcement is that on Wednesdays in September from now until early next year, there will be updates again.  But these will be a special kind of update.  I will be talking about the planned Sunnyville Stories Volume 4 Kickstarter, doing a countdown of the days until the Jan. 2018 launch date as well as sharing progress on the construction of the Kickstarter.  Watch for that soon!

That’s it for now, Sunnyville fans!  Please sign up for the Sunnyville Stories mailing list if you haven’t yet.   Buy me a Ko-Fi today and check out my other creation Tiffany & Corey.

Also, be sure to stop over to DriveThru Comics for digital copies of Sunnyville Stories.  Copies of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 are still for sale on Amazon, both in print and Kindle formats!  While you’re there, be sure to pick up Sunnyville Stories Volume 2 and (if you love Gothic horror) Von Herling, Vampire Hunter!  And now available is the latest installment of the saga, Sunnyville Stories Volume 3.  Get them today!

Copies of all the above titles are available to the library trade via Brodart Company and to retailers from Ingram and Baker & Taylor (via BCH Distribution).  Copies are also available direct from the publisher.  For ordering information, contact maxwestart(at)gmail(dot)com or write to:
