We have fourteen days to go – a fortnight – before the launch of the Sunnyville Vol. 4 Kickstarter!

Work is slow but going forward with the video.

Kickstarter 2018 Countdown: 15 Days Left!

With the clock ticking down, the Sunnyville Stories Volume 4 Kickstarter has 15 days left until its launch.

The overall battle strategy to fund the Kickstarter will mirror my first one.

Twitter will be a key weapon in the arsenal.  There will be three tweets daily along with a pinned tweet to inform everyone of the Sunnyville Kickstarter and to drive traffic to it.

Facebook will also be used.  There will be one update a day.  Plus there will be paid boosted ads to help get exposure of the Kickstarter.  (I’ll talk about paid advertising shortly.)   Continue reading →

Kickstarter 2018 Countdown: 17 Days Left!

The clock is ticking down – WE ONLY HAVE 17 DAYS LEFT until the Sunnyville Stories Volume 4 Kickstarter launches!

Some of you remember yesterday I mentioned some sort of surprise.  Well…here it is!

Baruch College of New York City was my alma mater.  I earned a degree in creative writing from this college back in 2003.  But wait a minute…what is this surprise I’m talking about?  What does this magazine have to do with Sunnyville?

Illustrating the Sunnyville Volume 4 Cover

Greetings, Sunnyville fans!!  We have ONLY 21 DAYS LEFT until the Sunnyville Volume 4 Kickstarter launches!!

Moving on, the cover for the planned fourth volume of Sunnyville has been completed.  This will also be used for the Kickstarter itself.  Today, I’ll show you a step by step montage of how the image was illustrated.  First I worked from the sketch I did (shown in yesterday’s blog post).

I first laid down a basic sketch in 2H pencil on 11 x 14 inch smooth bristol board and then tightened up everything with an HB pencil.   Continue reading →

Kickstarter 2018 Countdown: 25 Days Left

The clock continues to tick down.  We have 25 days until the Kickstarter launches to fund Sunnyville Stories Volume 4.  It launches on Jan. 5.

Within no more than 14 days from the launch of the Kickstarter, the video will be completed.  The art also for the Kickstarter itself which will most likely be the Sunnyville Volume 4 cover will be done too.  That will also give me time to properly outline a battle plan to promote the Kickstarter and rally as much support as I can.

All the people on my backer list have been contacted.  Everything is nearly in place.  I hope to have more up tomorrow
