We have ONLY 26 DAYS REMAINING until the Sunnyville Stories Volume 4 Kickstarter!

It launches on Jan. 5, 2018.  Stay tuned for more updates!

The clock is ticking down, friends!  We only have about 27 days remaining until the Sunnyville Volume 4 Kickstarter!

It has been finally finished; the contacting of 70 potential backers was finished earlier today!  The list actually grew as I ran across people that may be interested in supporting the project.

Currently, I’ve developed a script and storyboard for the planned video.  It will be similar to the earlier Kickstarter video I did where I interact with Rusty and Sam, leaving explaining much of the details to them.  During the week, doing the pencil drawings for that video will be a top priority.

There’s also the matter of what artwork to use for the Kickstarter.  I plan to use the Sunnyville Stories Volume 4 cover.  The artwork has to be eye-catching and perhaps unusual so that it will grab the attention of comics fans, potential backers and the media (blogs, podcasts and so on).

I hope to have thumbnails of this Kickstarter art & cover as the week goes on as well more about the video.

Remember that the Sunnyville Stories Volume 4 Kickstarter launches on Jan. 5, 2018.  We’ll need your support so get ready for the Kickstarter!

By now, nearly all the backers have been contacted.  A few more still are being notified and I’m reaching out to a couple of bloggers and podcasts for some publicity.

The clock is ticking down…

From here on, there’ll be a daily blog everyday counting down the days until the official start of the Sunnyville volume 4 Kickstarter.  Some days, they will just be countdown reminders but other days, I’ll have snippets of things like promotional art, my planned video, the Kickstarter copy and other important information.

Just a short recap – the Sunnyville Stories Volume 4 Kickstarter runs from January 5, 2018 to February 11, 2018.  We aim to raise US$2500 to fund a micro run of Sunnyville Stories Volume 4, my next book.  Rewards were discussed in an earlier post so consult that for all the swag you can get from this comics crowdfunding extravaganza.

Mark your calendars, fans.  In only 30 DAYS FROM NOW, we go live with the Kickstarter!  Stay tuned!

Hello, Sunnyville fans.  At this time, we have 34 days left until the Sunnyville Stories Volume 4 Kickstarter launch.

This Thursday, December 7 will mark 30 days before the launch of this Kickstarter.  Starting on that day, there will be a blog post each day counting down to the launch on January 5.  So stay tuned to this blog for the countdown, more news, the plans and other updates.

As a reminder, the Kickstarter will run from January 5, 2018 until February 11, 2018 – roughly about 40 days.  The goal will be to raise US$2,500 to fund a micro print run of Sunnyville Stories Volume 4, a 216-page book that will collect Sunnyville Stories #12 through 16 along with other material.   Continue reading →
