ONLY ONE WEEK REMAINS IN THE DOMINIC & CLAIRE CIRCUS KICKSTARTER!

This weekend, I am attending my first convention of 2020. That is FM Comicon 2020. I have the latest Kickstarter update going into more detail.

But to make a long story short, I will be using the convention to promote the Kickstarter as well as sell my comics.

These will be on display at my convention table. On the left is a page from a Western I’m planning, Poison Ivy Gulch. On the right is a page from Dominic & Claire Circus.

As I pitch my comics to attendees, I will get the word out about the Kickstarter.

We have 7 days left but I’m confident we can fully fund.

We have just 9 days left in the Dominic & Claire Circus Kickstarter and we are around 63%.

While I am doing good, I aim to keep beating the drum.

We are now in the final phase of the campaign. We have 10 days remaining to reach 100% or higher. At the time of this writing, we sit at 62% funding and I aim to get that number higher.

It has not been easy and I’ve had doubts. As I type this blog post, my state of mind is different from what it was this morning. I had to make a choice between doing what is easy and doing what is right. That was covered in my most recent Kickstarter update so go read that.

But I learned something else during my Kickstarter for Dominic & Claire Circus and it was something that Tyler James Vogel taught me.

I am a leader.

Some of you may not believe that or even refuse to believe it. But I am a leader.

All of you out there who’ve been reading this blog, reading my comics, buying my merchandise and backing my Kickstarters…you are my followers.

I can’t just throw in the towel. A leader does not give up at the first sign of trouble or whenever there’s difficulty. If I did that, my followers and everyone else would realize that I’m not a leader. But I am one. And that’s why I can’t just quit.

I’d be letting myself down.

I’d be letting my backers, my fans and my supporters down.

I’d be letting Tyler down.

I’d be letting Dominic and Claire down.

I can’t do that. I’m a leader and everyone out there is counting on me.

Just a reminder – my first convention of 2020 is this weekend. I will be vending my comics art FM Comicon 2019. That will be held this Saturday, Feb. 21 and Sunday, Feb. 22 at the Ramada Fargo here in North Dakota. Look for me there!

As a reminder, the Sunnyville spin-off Kickstarter for Dominic & Claire Circus is winding down. By tomorrow morning, we will be in the last third or final ten days of the Kickstarter.

We are frozen solid for some reason at 59% funding. In spite of extra rewards and reaching out to contacts, everyone is holding back from pledging.

From now until the end, there will be daily updates on this blog to drive traffic to the Kickstarter and get pledges. Watch this blog for more news.

We have 13 days remaining on my Kickstarter for the Sunnyville spin-off, Dominic & Claire Circus.

At the time of this writing, we stand around 58% funding. We are still in a good position as my chances of funding completely are strong. Even then, I need to do everything possible to get funded; I continue to stump for this Kickstarter here, on my email list and elsewhere like Twitter and Facebook.

Other ideas continue to be developed. I am thinking ahead to more Dominic and Claire stories, my planned picture book for next year and more comics.

Watch here on the blog as I aim to have a countdown from now until the very end of the Kickstarter. No matter what happens, I will keep beating the drum to get it funded.

My Kickstarter for the Sunnyville Stories spin-off comic, Dominic & Claire Circus, is halfway finished!

At the time of this writing, the campaign has 15 days to go and we are 55% funded. This means the numbers are on my side; the chances of this Kicsktarter getting fully funded are very good.

However, I can’t just sit around and do nothing. I must do everything possible to get to 100% funding. That is why I encourage you to pledge to the campaign. Plenty of rewards are left such as comics, trade paperbacks and even original art. As for Dominic & Claire Circus itself, it is my funniest comic so far. With new characters and more laughs, this is one you’ll enjoy. So let’s get this to 100% funded!

Ladies and gentlemen, I have great news!

Dominic & Claire Circus is halfway funded! At 55%, we are doing great! However, I don’t plan to rest on my laurels. It is imperative to get to 100% funding and above.

I have an incentive to help get funded. If you backed my Kickstarter, you are eligible to determine the 75% milestone bonus reward that goes to all backers. I have a rough drawing in the link below of Dominic saying something to his mother. If you backed my Kickstarter, then you can suggest to me what Dominic should be saying (keep it PG). I will pick the best one and finish the cartoon with that entry.

Dominic & Claire Circus is about one-third of the way finished.

We are hovering about 41-42% funding at this time. That is very good, especially for this point in the campaign. However, I can’t rest on my laurels. I need to get to halfway funded and then to fully funded.

To that end, I’m contacting past backers who pledged to my other Kickstarter campaigns. I also have a slew of rewards still available. You can get original art from me in the form of interior pages from Dominic & Claire Circus. Also available is one reward for US$299 and that includes a color commission from me! That’s right; anyone pledging to that reward can get an original piece of color art drawn by me and shipped out to them anywhere in the United States.
