Just an update, friends. Sunnyville Stories episode 8 “Make the Grade” is proceeding on schedule. At the time this blog post goes live, I just wrapped up the pencils. At least one page will be inked (out of a total of thirty-two) before the workday is finished for me.
If all goes well, this comic will be finished by the end of April and out some time in May. I aim to have this out for Anthrocon as well as episode 9 out by then.
This will be the cover for the comic. This is basically my painting “Rusty Against the World” – you can read about its creation in this blog post.
Yes, this comic cover is a parody of the cover to Queen’s 1977 album, News of the World.
On top of this, I’m also working on my graphic novel Von Herling, Vampire Hunter as well as Sunnyville Stories Volume 2. In addition, I’ve already begun planning out the third volume of the series and aim to release it sometime in 2016. I’ll keep you posted on the release schedule of the Sunnyville books.
