Work is progressing on both Sunnyville #11 and Sunnyville volume 3, still on schedule for its release in January 2016. As for the eleventh story “the Artful Dodger”, it’s going to be 33 pages in length. I thought I’d show you some of the rough pencils I’m doing right now.
I’ve said before the pencils are hard to reproduce so I hope you’ll forgive the quality of the photo here.
As we open up, we see a shot of the outskirts of Sunnyville. On the first few pages of this story, I want to open up the surroundings and show a few shots of the town. It’s my intent to convince readers that Sunnyville is a real place that exists, has existed for many years and will continue to exist long after you put the story down.
Along with shots of the town, I was going to show various townspeople and other interesting characters walking the streets. Check out that poster on the wall in the foreground – it’s a nod to my other creation.
