Announcements for November 6, 2016

Things have been quiet on the blog all week but I’m quite busy.  I’ve been working on some other things and also the plans for 2017.

First, I need to finish up the planned serialization of Sunnyville #13 here on the blog.  All this week, there will be an update each day of the comics pages.  Both this story and the subsequent Sunnyville #14 will be posted up here building up to the planned Sunnyville Stories Kickstarter that launches on Jan. 8, 2017.

As for the scripts, they are still coming slowly.  But I aim to finish all of them by the end of this year.  Next weekend, I’ll be posting up part of the script to Sunnyville #15.

Besides scripts to work out, there’s characters to develop and concepts to think about.  The good news is that these upcoming stories are ones that I’ve been wanting to do for awhile now.  I need to work out the look and feel of the game show Rusty goes on in the upcoming story.  Plus Sunnyville #17 will have Rusty, Sam and Jason visiting a shopping mall in Oak City.  Drawing a city will be quite different from drawing a small village.  I’ll be sharing more concept art too as it develops.  At the start of 2017, I aim to kick production of Sunnyville back into high gear.

Stay tuned to this blog for more comics and more news!
