Hello again, Sunnyville fans. I apologize for not updating last week. Anyway, I have more pages of Sunnyville #15 to share today.
Yep, all of you saw that coming. Rusty is able to make it onto the game show as a contestant. Well, he’d have to or we wouldn’t have a story.
As a reminder, that TV station Channel 77 is a gag. My original concept for Sunnyville was going to be called “Sunnyville 77” – it was going to have Rusty’s father (a different character) running an independent TV station, Channel 77, in the village of Sunnyville with Rusty and Sam acting as troubleshooters for him in addition to their adventures in town. I wonder what might have been had I chosen to go that route. Oh well.
And here is the theme of our story, greed. Rusty is more obsessed with winning those prizes. This may end up causing big trouble for him. But alas, we’ll have to wait until next time to see what happens.
