Comics Work for November And December 2017

Hello, Sunnyville fans.  Work progresses slowly but surely on Sunnyville #16.  My big priorities right now are assembling the Sunnyville Volume 4 Kickstarter in January and preparing for my final event for 2017.

Some of you may remember that there’s an event in nearby Moorhead, Minnesota this December – the Toys Collectibles & Curiosities Exposition.  As a reminder, I will be there selling comics.  They make GREAT Christmas presents for comics fans.  But that’s not all.

Sunnyville Christmas Cards

This event is in December so I’ll be selling some Christmas themed items too.  After Valleycon ended last week, my next stop was the nearest crafts store.  There, I picked up some blank greeting cards for dirt cheap thanks to a 50% off coupon.

For the past few days, I’ve been working up some Christmas cards with marker, pen and whatever medium I have on hand.  I plan to sell these hand-illustrated Christmas cards at the December expo.

I also have been sketching ideas for a Christmas themed painting with Rusty and Sam; once finished, a small number of signed & numbered prints will be made, making it a limited edition Christmas print.  I hope to share that with everyone as it develops.  As I have done step-by-step blog posts of how much work comes to life, that may even be the subject of a blog post soon!

Please sign up for the Sunnyville Stories mailing list if you haven’t yet.   Buy me a Ko-Fi today and check out my other creation Tiffany & Corey.

Also, be sure to stop over to DriveThru Comics for digital copies of Sunnyville Stories.  Copies of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 are still for sale on Amazon, both in print and Kindle formats!  While you’re there, be sure to pick up Sunnyville Stories Volume 2 and (if you love Gothic horror) Von Herling, Vampire Hunter!  And now available is the latest installment of the saga, Sunnyville Stories Volume 3.  Get them today!

Copies of all the above titles are available to the library trade via Brodart Company and to retailers from Ingram and Baker & Taylor (via BCH Distribution).  Copies are also available direct from the publisher.  For ordering information, contact maxwestart(at)gmail(dot)com or write to:
