I’m getting set for Anthrocon 2012. On Wednesday, June 13th, I will be on board an Amtrak train (business class of course!) headed for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This year’s associated charity with Anthrocon happens to be Hello Bully, an animal rescue organization dedicated to the American Pit Bull Terrier. As I have in the years before, I will be making a donation to the Anthrocon charity raffle to help raise money for them. And what will I be donating?
It’s the same thing I usually donate – Derwent brand pencils. It’s a reliable brand originating in the United Kingdom. I regularly use them in my work. Both of the pencil sets pictured here are water-soluble and give super effects when wet with a brush. Remember that these will be available at the Anthrocon charity raffle so make sure you buy tickets if you want to win these. Remember that the money is for a good cause.
Plus don’t forget about me! Pamphlets of Sunnyville Stories will be available for purchase at Anthrocon 2012. These will be carried at the table of my roommate, Steven Martin, so be sure you get a copy from him. And while you’re there, check out Steven’s neat artwork and CDs. He’s got a lot of material since he’s been painting since the 1970s.
M&T Comics and Cards will also be in the Anthrocon dealer room this year. They may have some copies left of Sunnyville Stories so be sure to check them out too. Plus they have all kinds of goodies for you to buy like comics, zines, books, graphic novels, DVDs, games, and so on.
