My art on a shirt

This is not Sunnyville related, but it still is a big deal to me!

While at my former base of operations in North Carolina, I rediscovered the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.  GLOW was a women’s professional wrestling organization best known for its TV show that ran in syndication from 1986 to 1990.  I had watched some episodes of the show and I recalled it after I watched the 2011 documentary film.

My favorite of the lady wrestlers was a belly dancer named Little Egypt, portrayed by Angelina Altishin.

So after watching the documentary, I decided to create this.

Little Egypt by Max West

“Little Egypt”, India ink & colored ink on watercolor paper, 10×14 inches

After doing this, I was able to locate Angelina online and showed this to her.

She was so impressed that my artwork is now a design on a T-shirt!  It’s available for sale on Pro Wrestling Tees.

It may not be Sunnyville related but it is cool nonetheless and I get bragging rights!
