I’ve got an update concerning Sunnyville Stories Volume 3. The book is coming together but there are still problems in getting the Preassigned Control Number (the precursor to the Library of Congress Control Number). It’ll be at least another week before that’s been finalized. I also received the new proof copies of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 and Volume 2.
Everything looks good as I have had to update some of the information (the older printings listed me and my company as being in North Carolina). There’ll be some fresh print runs made soon for sale to my vendors and to my customers.
Next Saturday, on May 9, 2015, the Moorhead branch of the Lake Agassiz Regional Library will be hosting a small comics related event called Moorhead Library Comic-Con. It’s going to be a small event held from 2 to 5 pm. I do plan to show up to check it out, snap photographs and promote my work. I need to see about giving more promotional material to the Lake Agassiz library system; I do want them to carry Sunnyville Stories in their collection.
Today is May 2, 2015. This is known as Free Comic Book Day. If you like free comics, remember that Sunnyville Stories #1 is free. It’s free to read here on the blog and it’s been posted on DeviantArt as well.
In addition, I’ve also posted up Free Sunnyville on DeviantArt. This is a FREE comic designed to promote Sunnyville Stories out there to readers as well as vendors, libraries and the media. At the time of this writing, I’m waiting for a proof copy to arrive. Once I check it over and make sure it’s good enough, a few hundred copies will be printed up to be distributed to the aforementioned peoples.
