Comics Progress Report and Project Wonderful

Hello, Sunnyville fans.  I apologize about not updating yesterday.  Work on Sunnyville #15 remains slow but at least we are halfway through the story so far.

There’s a photograph of proof that I am working – I’m pencilling the rough outlines of the characters (that’s our game show host being drawn there).

It’s hard to say for sure when Sunnyville #15 will be done.  I will share photos of the work as it progresses and more pages will be posted up in the future.

In addition to drawing the comics, I still work at promoting them too.  Besides the usual avenues of social media and this blog, I’ve started using another tool.

I’m using an advertising site called Project Wonderful.  Project Wonderful fills both functions that Google AdSense and AdWords does; in addition to using it to carry advertising on your blog or webpage (that means income!), you can also use it to advertise your own work.  If you’re willing to set aside a little money, it can be worth the traffic you pull in and the awareness you raise.

Why not check out Project Wonderful?  And I am active on there myself so be sure to friend me.

There’ll be more updates during the week on both the comics and a handy trick I learned about Project Wonderful.  In the meantime,  please sign up for the Sunnyville Stories mailing list if you haven’t yet.   Buy me a Ko-Fi today and check out my other creation Tiffany & Corey.

Also, be sure to stop over to DriveThru Comics for digital copies of Sunnyville Stories.  Copies of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1 are still for sale on Amazon, both in print and Kindle formats!  While you’re there, be sure to pick up Sunnyville Stories Volume 2 and (if you love Gothic horror) Von Herling, Vampire Hunter!  And now available is the latest installment of the saga, Sunnyville Stories Volume 3.  Get them today!

Copies of all the above titles are available to the library trade via Brodart Company and to retailers from Ingram and Baker & Taylor (via BCH Distribution).  Copies are also available direct from the publisher.  For ordering information, contact maxwestart(at)gmail(dot)com or write to:
