Hello, everyone. Before we get started, there has been a brief Kickstarter update made. The first digital Kickstarter rewards go out this week and next week so please keep an eye out for those.
Anyway, the Dominic & Claire comics are still under construction.
I have been snapping photos of my work as proof that these comics are under construction. As it stands, we are on schedule for the projected Feb. 2019 release.
Here I am, going over letters with a Speedball C6 nib.
As a reminder, Dominic & Claire is in color. While markers remain the primary tool, I did break out my Pelikan set of opaque watercolor (gouache). This was used to apply color and was a technical challenge. I had to be sure not to do anything too wet as I work on bristol board rather than watercolor paper.
The alcohol-based design markers have been doing a good job in bringing the vivid world of Dominic & Claire to life.
I will be sharing more photos and progress on the comics as they near completion. Stay tuned!
