I have been doing drawings of both Dominic and Claire during Inktober; they are part of the Sunnyville canon.

Dominic and Claire, Sunnyville Spin-Off

Around January and February of 2019, I will be releasing a 16-page comic book that will be a spin-off of Sunnyville Stories.  Do you remember Rusty’s cousin Dominic Duncan and his teenage neighbor Claire?  I did try to do something with them before and even made a 24-hour comic starring them.

I am working on a deal with printing as well as some vendors to carry this.  In addition, work on this comic is already underway.

During my recent time at Valleycon 2018, I was also drawing the pages to the Dominic & Claire spin-off like the cover and even three pages.

Kickstarter Ending and Events Starting

It’s been busy for me as I’ve got things coming up.

First, the Sunnyville Super Special #2 Kickstarter is wrapping up.  It ends tomorrow night on Monday October 15; if we get to $300, there will be additional rewards so be sure to pledge now!

I will be also selling next weekend at Valleycon, a convention in Fargo, North Dakota that will be held from Friday October 19 to Sunday October 21.

There’ll be more Inktober posts up soon as well as a look at how I came up with the cover to the Sunnyville Super Special #2.  Stay tuned for more great stuff here on the Sunnyville blog!

This one features Dominic, Rusty’s seven-year-old cousin, and his neighbor Claire, a teenage porcupine.  Claire (left) finds Dominic (right) precious and kisses him.

These characters were the stars of my 24 hour comic (which I will post up eventually).
