Fifty Stories Total

Greetings, loyal readers.  Originally, I was going to start cleaning out my junk in preparation for my planned move to Greensboro, North Carolina.

However, at the time of this writing, Hurricane Sandy is currently on its way to the Northeastern United States.  The Mid-Atlantic region and New England are in its direct path.  If you are in this area, please take whatever precautions are necessary.

Moving on, I have another announcement to make and it’s about my work, Sunnyville Stories.  I’ve completed five whole stories and am going to be finishing up the sixth one soon enough.  In all, I expect to complete a total of fifty stories for my series (each individual story is called an episode).  So I am in this for the long haul.

During my trip down south, I’ve completed story treatments for episode 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16!  So that alone is quite a lot of material.

Sunnyville Stories episode 7 is titled “By Any Other Name” and a partial script excerpt is up on this blog already.  This will be a comedy and will involve three identical brothers.  See that script excerpt for more details.

Episode 8 is titled “A Test of Character” and will be a drama.  It will involve Rusty dealing with a failed test in school…and his overbearing mother.

Episode 9 will be titled “The Japanese Connection” and will center around the Tanuki family.

As for episodes 10 and 11, I’m only going to reveal the titles.  Episode 10 is called “Listen to the Music” and episode 11 is “Higher Learning”.  The only other thing to be revealed about these stories is that more new characters will be introduced into the Sunnyville universe.

Subscribe to the RSS feed or via email if you haven’t already.  Also remember to buy a copy of Sunnyville Stories Volume 1.  Since the price will go up early next year, you may want to go and buy a copy today before the price increase goes into effect.  You can get a copy at Indy Planet, from Desert Island of Williamsburg, and the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe.
